Essential Job Responsibilities/Expectations

  • Job responsibilities include those listed in the competency document.
  • Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  • The Administrative Resident is an eighteen-month position that allows the Resident to apply didactical theory and principles in actual healthcare operations. During this residency the Resident will act as part of the administrative team.
  • The Administrative Resident will follow a structured “rotational plan” that is tailored according to his/her healthcare experience and educational background.
  • Active participation in a departmental rotation schedule
  • Completion of projects as directed by preceptor
  • Attendance to civic functions relating to McLeod Health
  • Practice all policies and procedures of the McLeod organization

Job Requirements

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is required
