JOB DESCRIPTION

McLeod Orthopedics Seacoast has an opening for a PRN Certified Athletic Trainer.  The Athletic Trainer is responsible for daily practice and game coverage including management of injuries, organization and administration, implementation of sport performance programming, and record keeping. Additionally, the Athletic Trainer will have the opportunity to provide outreach services to club, city recreation, and collegiate teams as well. 

The Athletic Trainer will be part of the sports medicine team following policies and procedures and working under the direction of the supervising physician. Athletic Trainer must be able to work in a team setting and work in a progressive atmosphere.

 

 

Skills Required

Minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree, with certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for athletic trainers.  Must be eligible for licensure in the state of South Carolina.
