JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers

5. Must maintain professional conduct and appearance
6. Must following (IFU) instructions for cleaning, sterilization and storage of surgical instruments, including all vendor
trays and Mcleod medical offices and internal departs that preforms
minor procedures using reusable surgical instruments.
7. Is able to operating a variety of sterilization equipment. Monitors biologicals, washer test, and ultrasonic test, for quality
assurance.
8. Cleans and maintains department work areas.
9. Dons appropriate PPE before entering the decontamination room or handling contaminated equipment.
10.Perform other duties as assigned.
11.Is familiar with steam, and plasma, autoclave’s and its different cycles, including the pretest and appropriate biological monitoring per standards and policies.
12.Must have interpersonal skills: must be able to work under stressful situations. Ability to maintain detailed records of sterilization procedures, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
Qualifications /Training:
Must have 1-2 years of experience working in a sterile processing department. Computer skills, Word, Excel
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma/equivalent from an accredited school
