Contract Mgr-McLeod Physician Associates

  1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  2. Shall demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the quality management system by:
  3. (a) promoting the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking
  4. (b) engaging, directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system requirements
  5. (c) promoting improvement
  6. Performs a variety of administrative duties related to Physician Contracts for all corporations owned by Mcleod Health.
  7. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of various reports regarding Physician Contracts.
  8. Compiles data, reviews files, and prepares reports related to physician contract management.
  9. Performs financial analysis regarding physician contracts as needed.
  10. Assists outside agencies, accountants or governmental agencies, with information as needed for their review of contracts.
  11. Monitors physician contracts to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  12. Provides support to hospital counsel regarding contracts as needed.
  13. Requires excellent communication, organization and computer skills.
  14. Demonstrates ability and initiative to perform duties with consistently high levels of accuracy, competency, and sound judgment.
  15. Completes yearly evaluation in a timely fashion to be approved by VP.
  16. Assists in interview/hiring process and participates in decisions affecting workflow and staffing.
  17. Assigns work.
  18. Provides continuous feedback promoting improvement.
  19. Applies human resources policies fairly and consistently.
  20. Reviews other Contract Analysts work for accuracy, completeness, timeliness and presentation.


Job Requirements

Qualifications/Training:  Experience in Accounting or related filed is preferred as well as knowledge of physician contracts.  Experience with PC-based applications, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel and Lawson.



Minimum of a High school diploma/equivalent from an accredited school
