JOB DESCRIPTION

  2. Customer service oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of non-technical users, managers, directors, and executive leadership.
  3. Multi-tasker who can work effectively on a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities and deadlines.
  4. Shares knowledge for the overall benefit of the team. Passionate about work and understands how it fits into the business operations.
  5. Takes an initiative in improving themselves while innovating technology and the work processes.
  6. Able to translate business requirements into workable solutions and solve potentially complex problems.
  7. Serves as project leader in a coordinating role between clients and IT personnel for problem resolution, project evaluation and implementation.
  8. Coordinates application install, upgrade, and support issues for desktop and related computer equipment.
  9. Provides general technical assistance to clients and IT staff.
  10. Provides daily operational leadership and guidance to desktop support staff.

 

Qualifications/Training:

  • Five years of related work experience in supporting computer information systems.
  • Experience in supporting all levels of PC related applications.
  • Experience with industry standard PC hardware and peripherals.
  • Must be a team player with initiative, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
  • Five years minimum experience including but not limited to: Active Directory, Citrix technologies, client server application support, desktop applications, firewall/network security, and VMWare/virtualization technologies.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education (high school diploma or GED) and experience.
