Job Description
  1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  2. Ensure safe and adequate patient care during assigned shift.
  3. Serve as an administrative resource during the assigned shift.
  4. Serve as a clinical resource.
  5. Manage the administrative duties related to patient deaths.
  6. Provide an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion and respect for all patients, families and visitors.
  7. Responsible for record keeping.
  8. Responsible for the storage and safety of medications.
  9. Responsible for reporting all quality concerns to the Director or Administrator on call for immediate action.
  10. Provides necessary leadership and overall coordination of activities to ensure the patient care objectives are achieved.
  11. Communicates appropriately and clearly to physicians, staff, and administration.
  12. Maintains a good working relationship within all departments.
  13. Demonstrates an understanding of the overall CE, OE, Q&S plan for the organization and individual departments for patient services.
  14. Participates in the development of policies and procedures for Patient Services and the organization.
  15. Contains cost and utilizes resources in an efficient manner.
  16. Competently manages physician and employee communication related to complaints, suggestions, and concerns.
  17. Stroke (ED and Inpatient Process, Stroke Alert, REACH, NIHSS)

Qualifications /Training:

  • At least 3 years total related work experience


  • Licensed RN in South Carolina, maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and CPI Certification
  • Associates Degree or BS Degree in Nursing

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 72 hrs bi-weekly; to work day/night rotation; 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am
