JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. 

Responsible for ensuring McLeod employees are compliant with all regulatory agency requirements.  Supports all McLeod Health entities. 

Administration of all annual programs to satisfy regulatory agency requirements including but not limited to DHEC, OSHA, NIOSH, CDC and DNV regulations.  Attendance, when required, at surveys for these agencies. Maintenance of all employee health records in EMR including student records. Investigation, record maintenance and follow up for employee exposure to communicable disease including but not limited to tuberculosis, pertussis and meningitis. Implementation of annual employee influenza vaccinations for all McLeod Health entities and submit and maintain all mandated reporting related to vaccinations (NHSN/CMS). Travel to all McLeod entities as needed to monitor compliance concerns. Periodic work in Employee Health department or other industry clinics as needed. 

 

Qualifications /Training: 

Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems as indicated. Ability to understand and communicate regulatory compliance rules and regulations. Ability to present data/reports to direct supervisors and senior leadership.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:  

Must possess a valid nursing license from SC or other compact state.
