The HeartReach Paramedic is a South Carolina certified paramedic responsible for the care of the patients transferred. Responsible for the operation of the IABP, Lifepack, monitors, pacemakers, and all other equipment approved by DHEC for paramedic usage. Administration of approved drugs and responsible for all protocols as described by the Medical Control Physician.
Work Schedule: Full time 80 hours biweekly as scheduled as needed based on department demandsLicenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:Must have a current South Carolina Paramedic CertificationMust have a National Registered Paramedic certification.Must have and maintain a South Carolina Driver’s licenseExperience with a Critical Care transport system is preferredACLS, PALS(or equivalent), BLS, ITLS/PHTLS(or equivalent) certifications are required.FP-C, CCP-C, or CCEMT-P are required within eighteen (18) months of employment.
