Assess’ all work orders for trends in asset performance
Insure that all facility systems and equipment are well-maintained in the region, including but not limited to: HVAC, Medical Gases, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Envelope; Life Safety, etc.
Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations and reports to define downtime problems and make recommendations for reducing outages.
Provides in-house consulting activities to advise and counsel personnel on a variety of complicated processes/procedures, supported by detailed calculations and guided by cost-effective decisions and recommendations. Establishes good maintenance practices and trains others to spread the concepts across the organization.
Manage Engineering Call Center and Building Inspection Employees
Will assist in checking/managing the commissioning and new installations/systems to ensure they are operating correctly and manage the turnover documentation.
Working weekends and different shifts may be required to define needed required work or support needed work.
Work closely with budgets and finances to assist department in reducing costs and improving asset life expectancy.
Manage, with CMMS administrators, all data entry into CMMS. This would include, assets, PM’s, OEM manuals, drawings, turnover documentation and parts for repair/PM’s and any other related data.
Track the corrective actions needed from failure analysis and maintain the Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) program.
Assist Engineering and other related department staff in facilitating Engineering and other related department activity with Hospital staff.
With engineering staff maintain integrity of PM program including content, schedule and regulatory compliance.
Assist engineering and other related department staff in managing Material master, equipment history, storeroom and min/max levels.
Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPI’s)for system performance. KPI’s include PM completion rate, outstanding Open Work Orders, Technician efficiency, needed Labor loading and planning etc.
Assess existing assets and modify engineering standards to ensure reliability improvements in new installations.
With engineering and other related department staff coordinate regulatory programs and inspections.
Assists Engineering and other related department staff in identifying recurring maintenance issues and planning for corrective actions.
With Engineering and other related department Management, assess ways and means of implementing and performing more preventative and predictive maintenance versus reactive maintenance work to reduce unplanned downtime.
Review effectiveness of PM plan and task list and frequencies and PM strategy.
Perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Work Schedule: 80 hours Bi-weekly
Minimally a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant sciences and/or engineering field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in reliability and/or Quality engineering activities.
Be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, AutoCad and statistics.
Licenses and/or Certifications:
- Due to insurance regulations, must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
