JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Provides direction and oversight for all hospital inventory areas, both perpetual and non-perpetual, and with a focus on processes and inventory activities.
In addition, this position has the primary responsibility to ensure all inventory related activities are in support of company policy and audit compliance.
Works with Material Managers to set inventory goals and objectives, also keep them informed of inventory progress and focus areas.
Enters requisitions for engineering purchases.
Performs cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
Make recommendations for efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help implementation.
Introduce change and implement new programs and strategies.
Possess a sense of urgency, proactive approach, and customer service philosophy.
High level of interpersonal skills necessary to work cooperatively with wide variety of constituents.
Service Excellence provided to customers.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel related to analyzing data.
Time management skills.
Requires the ability to work under/handle stressful situations.
Must be a quick thinker and able to displays positive emotional behavior, as well as apply positive social skills with co-workers, vendors, customers, and patients..
Work Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly
Qualifications/Training:
Four years of progressively responsible work experience that requires knowledge and application of supply management, warehousing, distribution, and logistics, which demonstrates the ability to work in healthcare supply chains or engineering.
