JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
2. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: 
3. Collection of health history and documentation made in computer
4. Obtain vital signs
5. Place patients in exam rooms
6. Assist physicians in room when nurse not available
7. Charges responsibility  – instruments taken to and picked up from central processing
8. Assists with transporting patients to hospital if needed
9. Assists with ordering of supplies and stocking as needed

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications /Training:

 Needs to have completed training through a certified CMA program

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

CMA certification

 Minimum of a high school diploma/equivalent from an accredited school
