Patient Care Supervisor for Emergency (FT Days) – Loris

Contributes to the overall performance of the department using unit based Operational and Clinical Effectiveness and Service Excellence techniques.

Competently manages employee related complaints, issues and concerns to optimize the work environment.
Supervises and ensure use of appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patient and staff.
Ensures adequate and appropriate staff to meet the needs of patients within the guidelines of director approved staffing patterns.
Provides for continued organized workflow including crisis situations, or periods of peak volume, and/or unusual work situations.
Ensures compliance with established unit protocols, policies, and specific standards of care.
Contributes to the development and evaluation of staff and unit.
Participates in managing fiscal responsibility of the unit.
Fosters interdepartmental and collaborative relationships.
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
Minimum of an ADN required
Current RN license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current PALS certification if applicable for patient population
Current CPI certification if applicable for patient population
