JOB DESCRIPTION
  1. Understanding of population health analytics, and an understanding of clinical and claims based data systems and measures.
  2. Uses data warehouse, population health tools, electronic health record, and other reporting systems to provide clinical and claims related reporting and analytics.
  3. Provide support for data integrity and data validation in the production of data that drives operations, financial and quality queries.
  4. Develops trend analysis reports that monitor key performance indicators and compares them to internal and external benchmarks and uses this data to assist leadership in decision-making, planning and implementing performance improvement strategies.
  5. Works with cross-functional team to identify research, gather and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to compare, contrast and synthesize information.
  6. In collaboration with key stakeholders, IT, etc., designs and maintains regular dashboards on quality, financial information outcomes, population health management (PHM) measures, and other metrics.
  7. Obtains, produces, and executes all appropriate projects in an organized and systematic manner that leads to increased efficiencies and effectiveness of program development/implementation.
  8. Identifies and coordinates best practices, processes and methodologies for streamlined implementation and action plans to address barriers and/or challenges
  9. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  10. Strong organizational and prioritization skills are necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS

Qualifications/Training:

  • 3 years experience in data analysis or related area
  • 2 years experience performing data analytics in a healthcare environment
  • Strong leadership, presentation, communication (written/verbal) and information gathering and the ability to interact with various client groups
