JOB DESCRIPTION
  1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  2. Routine audits, investigation, and clean-up of system data to ensure patient identity and encounter integrity.
  3. Provides Scorecard for Patient Access leadership, requiring data extraction, analysis, interpretation, and presentation. Consults with directors on creating and implementing action plans, based on data.
  4. Authors Patient Access communications, highlighting data trends and reinforcing best practices to improve quality of patient accounts and encounters.
  5. Implementation and maintenance application support for Patient Access staff  and I.T. staff as appropriate.
  6. Participates in an on-call rotation schedule, to include daily, after hours, weekends, providing 24×7 client support.
  7. Identifies areas of opportunity via QA process that yield the desired financial, quality, or patient experience outcomes.

Serves as a liaison between the Patient Access Preservice and Registration, Revenue Cycle, Quality, and Physician Practices.
