Strong interpersonal skills and a pleasant bedside manner.
Ability to multitask.
Maintain strong computer skills.
Give instructions to patients who may be nervous regarding radiography procedures.
Give straightforward instructions and answer questions as well as foster a sense of comfort and confidence in patients.
Prepare equipment for use as needed.
Position patients during exams.
Monitor patients during exams.
Document appropriate information into computer.
Report important findings to the physician.
Ensure safety of patients during exams.
Set goals with Practice Administrator to meet the demand of radiology services in the office.
Maintain confidentiality while speaking with patients, upholding policy.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
Demonstrate a willingness to perform the duties of other department personnel as needed.
Be flexible with hours scheduled.
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
License from South Carolina Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
