JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Supervises and participates in skilled maintenance and repair of electrical service, air conditioning, refrigeration, heating and ventilation systems. Modifies, designs, and change control circuits; install temporary components and/or systems to sustain operations and provides management and technical support to operators and other technicians.
Ensures fire rated wall, ceiling and floor assembly penetrations are maintained with approved UL rated firestop compounds.
Shall have a working knowledge of ASHREA Standards, NFPA Life Safety Code and applicable OSHA regulations or have an ability to acquire such knowledge in a short period.
Monitor, maintain and repair equipment and utility systems and help to ensure performance indication logs are maintained.
Review Work Orders daily and completed associated tasks/repairs by Type/Priority and document the “as found” condition, troubleshooting/repair details, list any testing equipment (with calibration dates), test results data, photos, verbal/written documentation of communication with Requestor and final “as corrected” condition. Document root causes for all equipment failures.

Work Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly
Qualifications /Training:
Must have a minimum of four years of experience maintaining commercial/industrial building systems or two years building maintenance experience in a hospital. Must be able to demonstrate general personal computer data entry proficiency.
Physical Requirements:
During every day work and frequent field and site investigations, the Service Supervisor will be exposed to:
* Dirt, fumes, extreme temperatures, and noise
* Confined work spaces and high work places
* Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time
* Frequent stooping, crawling, twisting, kneeling, or crouching
* Pulling or lifting equipment or supplies (frequently weighing 30-50 pounds)
* Climate extremes
* The discomfort of wearing required safety equipment (hard hat, safety shoes, etc)
There are also typical dangers involved in construction sites from falling objects, moving equipment, etc.
