JOB DESCRIPTION
  1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  2. Assists in the daily functions of the Department so as to keep things running smoothly. This may include processing travel & CME requests, ordering supplies, creating & distributing internal communications such as departmental newsletter or Huddles, preparing meeting agenda, serving as Scribe & transcribing meeting minutes, greets & handles walk-in customers & phone calls from customers.
  3. Prepares & distributes routine reports on departmental metrics according to deadline; i.e. daily productivity stat, monthly Physicians performance reports of professional fee charges & collections, E&M Coding Benchmark reporting, departmental Dashboard, etc.
  4. Assist Providers with completion of hardcopy & electronic death certificates, requests from various entities such as DME Vendors, Home Health, etc.
  5. Manages all tasks associated with Accounts Payable invoices such as Locum invoices. This includes following up to ensure invoices are paid timely.
  6. Assists with various clerical tasks as needed including preparation of presentations, analysis of reports; i.e. monthly variance reports, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS

Qualifications/Training:

Previous experience working with physicians is recommended

Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school
