Job Summary •    Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, •    and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. •    Demonstrates dedication to the Mission of the Guest House at McLeod, McLeod Health, McLeod Regional Medical Center and Department of Hospitality. •    During each shift and under the management of the Resident Manager, oversees overall operation of the Guest House at McLeod. •    During shift, resides on Guest House premises and provides 24 hour emergency coverage. •    Responsible for proficient management of scheduling Guest House rooms including appropriate communication with guests and staff, guest registration, fund collection, daily collection reconciliation, orienting guests, compiling statistical reports and bookkeeping. •    Promotes excellent customer service by maintaining visibility and accessibility with guests and actively pursues opportunities to assist and/or serve guests. •    Oversees maintenance of the interior and exterior of the Guest House ensuring all areas are kept clean and orderly on a day to day basis (includes daily inspection of facilities, execution of light housekeeping, oversight of cleaning crew, timely submission and follow up of work orders, and appropriate report out of needs to Resident Manager, Director and staff. •    Enforces the McLeod Guest House Rules and policies. •    Assists Resident Manager with training new staff and volunteers. •    Responsible for assisting Resident Manager with maintaining all necessary records including registration fee records, supplies inventory records, receipt of delivery/invoice records, report services, report of inspection, and daily reconciliation records. •    Successfully collaborates with the McLeod Foundation to include notifying the Foundation of donations or prospective donors, penning of thank you notes and collection/submission of funds. •    Establishes and maintains positive professional rapport with guests, patients and hospital staff. •    Adheres to and demonstrates McLeod Health’s Service Excellence Standards and Core Values in all interactions and circumstances. •    Performs duties in accordance with Guest House at McLeod, McLeod Health, McLeod Regional Medical •    Center and Department of Hospitality policies and procedures of the Guest House to assure efficient and compassionate operation of Guest House at McLeod. •    Responds to guest/patient/staff’s needs, questions and/or concerns in a compassionate, professional, timely and effective manner. •    Proactively takes ownership in service recovery, complaint resolution and opportunities for improvement as appropriate.   •    Performs all other duties as assigned.
