JOB DESCRIPTION

                                                                                         Essential Functions

Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse performing patient care duties such as obtaining vitals, bathing, feeding, dressing, transporting, and grooming based on the needs of the patient population. Conduct hourly rounds to ensure patient well-being, while also creating a comforting and secure environment for patients and visitors.

Qualifications /Training:

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification, or 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting.  HS diploma preferred/Equivalent from an accredited school or successful completion of WIN Testing or completion of McLeod approved Transition to Work Program.
