JOB DESCRIPTION
Technician will be responsible for, at a minimum, performing asset management, repair, and preventative maintenance duties on a variety of clinical devices. Technician must utilize excellent customer service skills while performing duties. Work Schedule Full-time (80 hours biweekly) as scheduled; call is required. Department Description Biomedical Equipment is composed of a team of BMETs, Imaging Specialists, and Equipment Transporters, who collaborate to perform asset management, repair, and preventative maintenance duties on a variety of clinical devices for all three McLeod campuses and all of the McLeod physician practice offices. Experience Required Experience with surgical devices, including sterilizers is a big plus. Technician must be able to perform asset management, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks on at least basic clinical equipment initially, gradually progressing to more complex systems over a reasonable time period. Technician must apply excellent customer service skills at all times, and be an outstanding team player. Technician must be willing and able to learn new and varied devices. Experience operating and repairing computers and computer networks a big plus.
