Friday, September 29, Matthew Peake, Health Careers Program Coordinator, and Alexis Carraway attended a Career Fair at Lakewood High School in Sumter. Alexis currently works as an MST for the Trauma Surgical Unit at McLeod Regional Medical Center while pursuing her medical doctorate degree. She also serves as a LIFE Intern for McLeod. LIFE Interns are undergraduate students who have continued in their dedication to McLeod and the Health Careers Program after high school.  They often speak to younger high school students and provide mentorship about the next phase of their education and career journey.
