McLeod Sports Medicine Athletic Trainers participated in Annual Training on July 26, practicing skills in preparation for the Fall sports season. The event was led by Athletic Trainers Joe Cauble, Heide Burgin, Mike Rice, and Wyatt McCrackin. The Athletic Trainers reviewed King Tube Airway insertion, football helmet facemask removal, spine boarding, and helmet and equipment removal. Presenters included Stephanie Clark, RN, CDCES with the McLeod Diabetes Center, Dr. Meghan Jordan of McLeod Pediatric Associates, and Sports Medicine Physicians Dr. Pat Denton, Dr. Zac DiPaolo, Dr. Art Jordan, and Dr. Brandon McDonald with McLeod Orthopaedics.
