McLeod Health Carolina Forest

McLeod Health began its outreach into Carolina Forest in 2016 to meet the expanding healthcare needs of the Myrtle Beach area. A 43-acre campus, McLeod Health Carolina Forest has a free-standing Emergency Department and the Carolina Forest Surgery Center with a projection of 5000 surgeries to be performed in its first year.  Currently under construction is a 48-bed hospital tower with an expected opening in the summer 2026.

The campus also offers a wide variety of physician practices and outpatient services including Cardiology, Vascular, Neurology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Women’s Health Care, Rehabilitation, and Orthopaedics.
