The DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses
The DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day.
Nurses are selected for this award based on great clinical skills, leadership, compassion and their commitment to strong patient care. Anyone can nominate a nurse or nursing team: co-workers, doctors, patients, patient’s family, volunteers or staff.

Each year, the prestigious Palmetto Gold Award is given to 100 nurses in South Carolina to recognize their invaluable contributions to health care. The Palmetto Gold program is also a platform to support nursing education with scholarship funds.
