McLeod Health Youth Apprentice Program: Your Pathway into Healthcare Starts Here!

As a McLeod Health Youth Apprentice, you’ll gain real healthcare experience, develop essential skills, and earn a nationally recognized credential—all while in high school and at no cost to you!

Program Highlights:

• Summer Training Course: Begin with specialized training through Florence Darlington Technical College to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA).
• Real Healthcare Experience: Use your new skills as a Medical Surgical Technician (MST) in a McLeod Health facility.
• Dual Enrollment Option: Some students may qualify to start valuable prerequisites through FDTC, getting a head start on healthcare coursework alongside job training.
• Earn as You Learn: Get paid while building a foundation for a rewarding healthcare career.

Eligibility Requirements

• Students must be at least 16 years old at the start of the program to qualify.
